Our dobermans are fed a balanced raw diet (80% muscle meat, 10% bone, 5% liver, 5% offal.) and our litters are weaned to a balanced raw diet. We recognize that not all owners want to feed their dog raw. As such, food is adjusted for individual puppies based on the adoptive family's preference in order to prepare the puppy accordingly.
Benefits of Raw Feeding:
Decreased skin issues
Shinier coat & less shedding
Supports hip & joint function
Cleaner teeth & fresher breath
Smaller and less stinky poops
Fewer trips to the vet
Add to the life of your pet
Is raw expensive? You can feed your dog for as little as $1 per pound, which is comparable to the cost of kibble. Search online and on Facebook for raw food co-ops. We personally use a co-op and it is very cost effective.
If you choose to continue with a raw diet for your new family member, below is some helpful information to help you along the raw journey. If you have difficulty locating a raw supplier in your area, please let us know and we will assist.
