Code of Ethics
At Taillac Dobermans we follow a very strict code of ethics. We feel that these characteristics are what make us stand out from other Doberman breeders. We hope that this code helps you while you look for the right puppy for your family.
We provide lifetime assistance and support for you and your dog. We will always be available to you and your puppy to assist with any questions, concerns, or training issues.
We DO NOT LINE breed (no mixing of same family blood lines; no inbreeding)
Puppies are all fed appropriately for their age and size. We do NOT feed inappropriately to encourage any size deviations.
We vaccinate and worm every puppy before they go to their new homes.
We breed for health, conformation, and temperament. The number one goal is the health of our breeders and their puppies.
Each dam is different and their litters are planned based on several criteria. Our mother(s) are given the break in between litters that they deserve. All of our breeders are also our family pets. Everyone is named, played with, socialized, and well mannered. We love all of our dogs and have a special relationship with each of them.
We provide inside housing and daily exercise and excessive love to our dogs.
We work with all our dogs, both together and as individuals on socializing.
Our dogs are all vet checked regularly.
We do not let puppies younger than 8 weeks old go to their new homes. We do this for health reasons as well as to give us enough time to train and go through our socialization process.
We will educate our buyers to the best of our ability on owning, training, and caring for their new doberman. All adoptive families are provided with a care packet.
We screen all homes to the best of our ability to make sure it is a good fit for both the families and puppies. We strive to ensure all puppies will have forever families.
We do have a contract. We have this in place to protect the buyer, the seller and to protect the dog.
If for any reason you may no longer be able to care for or keep your dog, we will always take the dog back (please refer to contract for further information on this policy). We do require that none of our dogs are re-sold as a breeder, given to a rescue, sanctuary, or medical research facility. We require they be re-homed or sent back to us.
